My was filled with sadness and hardship. During my childhood, I never really had a stable home life. My mom and dad were constantly quarreling, and eventually, they divorced when I was just a teenager. I was obliged to bounce around between different kinfolk’s houses, never really feeling like I belonged anywhere.

And then, one particular day, something occurred changed my life for good. I was enjoying a game online with a few friends when I was suddenly disconnected from the server. At first, I thought it was just a glitch, but as it turned out, my internet service had been terminated due to an outstanding bill that my mom and dad had neglected to pay.

I was heartbroken. How was I going to be able to be able to play my favorite games without any internet? Still, rather than mope in self-pity, I determined to take matters into my own hands. I began saving up my allowance and doing odd jobs for neighbors in order to pay for my own internet service. It was not easy, but ultimately, I was able to get back online and continue the games that I loved.
